Phalame Danda is a hill located at the northern side of Beni. Situated at an altitude of 2300m, it is still a lesser explored and underrated destination.
It provides the views of Dhaulagiri range in the western side, Annapurna range in north direction. In addition, you can see the layers if hills of neighboring districts in the southern direction.

Early morning drive from Pokhara to Beni which is about two and a half hours. We will drop at Galeswor and then start our hike to Banskharka,the village of oranges. At a community hall, we will have our lunch and start the uphill hike to Phalame Danda through a forest and then Lopre Gaun.

Wake up early for the view of sunrise and Himalayan ranges from Phalame Danda and have local organic breakfast. Start the trek down to Mallaj which is around two hours. Visit the Historical Mallaj Durbar. Later, a one hour downhill hike to Beni followed by a ride back to Pokhara.
